New Anthem Album Coming!

We are excited to announce that we will be releasing a new Anthem album in the beginning months of this next year. We are excited to see how God will use these songs for His glory. Please be praying for us as we finish writing and recording. Thanks for all your support!

ANTHEM 8PM TONIGHT

Can you believe that Anthem is tonight? We are extremely excited to worship with all of you tonight. Make sure to bring your non-believing friends because the gospel is going to be laid out extremely well tonight. Our prayer is that tonight God would open our eyes to see Him rightly for who he is. We long to dwell in the house of the Lord the rest of our lives and tonight we hope to meet God face to face and praise His holy name together! Come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our God our maker.

 For to those who are perishing the message of the cross is foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is God's power.

Anthem on Friday!

Anthem is 8pm this Friday, Nov.11th at Cornerstone Church. Please come join us for a passionate night of worship. 

We have been anticipating and preparing for this event all semester and are extremely excited to see what God is going to do in our midst. Please be praying today that the non-believers that attend Anthem would hear the gospel and turn to Christ.

Wednesday's prayer Focus:

While going through your day today, be thinking about the lost around you. Pray that God would give you a heart for the lost. At anthem this semester there is going to be a gospel presentation given by Paul Sabino. This would be a great opportunity to ask them to come with you.

Anthem and Phil Wickham at The Alternative

Big Month! Opening for Phil Wickham

Hey All,

   This month is a big month! We've been songwriting preparing for our new album and also preparing for the Alternative on the August 25th at 9pm on Iowa State University on the South Campanile lawn. IT'S FREE!!!! We are opening for Phil Wickham who will be there! We are getting really pumped for this awesome opportunity! 

Also if you haven't heard yet Adoleo the Iowa City worship band is releasing there first Album on Tuesday the 23rd and are having a release concert on Saturday, August 27th in downtown Iowa City! Spread the word!

Anthem Tonight!

Its finally here! Anthem is tonight! Here is the focus for today. Worship is more than just singing, it is a lifestyle of praising God with everything you do. 

1 Corinthians 10:31 

 ³¹ So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 

Take today to try and do this. In everything you do do it unto the Lord. Lets prepare our minds and hearts for what God is going to do tonight.

Focus for Thursday

I hope you have been having a great couple days. It was awesome to focus on Psalm 100 today, I personally was impacted by that Psalm and it inspired me to worship unashamedly.  For today I encourage you to fast. Maybe it is just a fast from one meal or maybe it is the whole day. While fasting spend time in prayer, asking God to move in big ways this Friday both in your life and in the lives of all that come. If you are fasting the whole day, every time you feel hungry lift up a prayer to God thanking Him for His faithfulness. Thanks all. Get ready for Anthem, it is gonna be sweet!

Prayer Focus for Today and Tomorrow

Hey All,   The prayer focus for today through tomorrow is for those God has put on our hearts to invite to Anthem. If God has put a person on your heart to invite, pray that God would be softening there hearts to say yes to coming. Pray also that God would move in really big ways at Anthem. How cool would it be to see a revival break out!!!! If nobody comes to mind to ask please ask God to reveal that person to you.

Praise God for what He has done! He is risen! I hope you have/had a great Easter! God is preparing our hearts for what he is going to do at Anthem this year. Anthem @ Cornerstone Church, April 29th

Anthem is going to be on a Friday this semester. We are preparing now and are really excited about what God is going to do with this Anthem. 

For those of you who went to Anthem in Iowa City this past Friday I hope you had as great a time of worship as I had. What a great night! It was really exciting to see the new Anthem Iowa City band play the great new songs they wrote. I'm excited to hear more of their new songs. 

Anthem IC stoked the fire for me and got me all the more excited for Anthem here in Ames. I believe God wants to use this "event" to change the lives and hearts of everyone who comes and to challenge us to stop being disengaged and complacent but instead to turn our eyes and minds towards Christ.

Anthem at Cornerstone April 29th

Get ready! Mark your calendars! Prepare your hearts for a night of worship and prayer! We believe that God wants to move in the hearts of his people and bring more to himself. In this context, the unbeliever “will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, ‘God is really among you!’” (1 Corinthians 14:25). Be ready for God to fill that Auditorium with his presence in a night of passionate worship and seeking His face! See you there!
